Installation - Ensuring a Long Life for Your Enduramaxx Tank

Proper site preparation is crucial for the longevity and trouble-free operation of your Enduramaxx tank. It's essential to install your tank on a smooth, level, firm surface that can fully support its weight. In most cases, a reinforced concrete base is the ideal solution. Allow the base to fully cure for 7-10 days before placing the tank.

Even if you're using a tank stand, ensure it's also mounted on a level, solid base. Both tanks and stands need to be secured against potential movement caused by wind, seismic activity, the contents shifting, or other factors. We recommend a reinforced base that's at least 600mm (24") larger than the tank's dimensions and has a minimum depth of:

102mm (4") for tanks up to 2,500 liters

152mm (6") for tanks 4,000 liters to 10,000 liters

204mm (8") for tanks over 10,000 liters

Remember, a full 10,000L tank weighs a hefty 10 tonnes. Soft ground or an insufficiently deep base can cause the ground to sink under the weight.

Carefully consider the installation location, ensuring enough space for future maintenance activities. Polyethylene tanks can expand or contract due to temperature changes, weather conditions, and the contents. Therefore, proper planning regarding the installation space is crucial.
